Six arrested after men found allegedly using dogs to hunt in field near Rush, North Dublin
The men, aged 20s to 40s, were arrested and taken to Coolock Garda Station .A spokeswoman told Dublin Live the patrol was part of Operation Thor.She said: "Gardai on ‘rural patrols’ as part of Operation Thor, attended a Public Order Incident on Old Road, Rush Dublin on November 30, 2019 at approximately 11.50am."Six males were discovered allegedly hunting with lurcher dogs on land without permission."Six men (40s and 20s) were arrested and are currently detained at Coolock in relation to public order offences."One of the men has since been released and the dogs are in his care.

A dangerous driver was arrested after forcing gardaí on a chase around south Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A man, 31, led patrol cars and a helicopter on the chase shortly after midnight on the Kilakee Road in Rathfarnham.
The driver was followed for a short time by gardaí before he was caught, arrested and brought to Tallaght Garda Station.
A spokeswoman for Gardaí confirmed they "responded to an incident of dangerous driving that occurred this morning 4 December, at approximately 12.50am on the Kilakee Road, Rathfarnham".
She added: "A short pursuit ensued and following its conclusion, a male driver (aged 31) was arrested and conveyed to Tallaght Garda station."
