The victim of an assault by two sons of Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae said he almost cancelled his wedding as a result of the attack.
Independent Councillor Jackie Healy-Rae, 24, and his brother Kevin, 22, have been given suspended jail sentences of eight months and seven months respectively.
Co-accused Malachy Scannell 34, of Inchinacoosh, Kilgarvan received two six month suspended sentences for the incident on December 28, 2017.
All three were last month convicted of assault causing harm arising from a dispute with British tourist Kieran James over queue jumping at a chip van during the 2017 Christmas festivities.

The two men, of Sandymount, Kilgarvan, are sons of Independent Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae.
Victim Kieran James, 30, wrote in a victim impact statement, which was read out in court today, that his life has changed “to the detriment”.
He told how his wedding later in Kenmare was “marred” for both he and his wife Lauren by the memories of the assault.
He has had to endure painful operations to his nose and suffers onging pain in his shoulder.
And he has suffered “significant financial” loss due to taking time off work unpaid.
“Immediately following the assault, I struggled to sleep at night as my now wife and I had recurring nightmares of the events. We still have intermittent nightmares now,” Kieran said.

“We were so looking forward to the wedding and the time we had planned to spend in Kenmare. The attack that night totally changed our feelings for the town and consequently we even considered cancelling our wedding arrangements.
“Although we finally got married in Kenmare as planned, the day was marred by the horrible memories of that night,” Mr James said.
He went on to say his childhood memories of Kenmare have been tarnished as a result of the assault.
“The events that night have changed all that now and I no longer want to visit the town I loved, as I no longer feel safe and I associate it with being attacked."
