Suspected 'hit team' arrested on way to carry out shooting
A suspected hit team is in custody after being enlisted to carry out a shooting for a midlands Traveller gang. Two men from the Swords area were travelling in a vehicle along the N4 when they were intercepted by members of the heavily armed Emergency Response Unit (ERU).

In total, gardaí said they had seized 10 unlicensed rickshaws as well as €3,000 worth of drugs.
In February of last year, a rickshaw driver caught with over €4,000 worth of ecstasy tablets had her prison sentence suspended on condition she leave the country.
