A search is underway in Co Wexford after a car believed to belong to a couple missing from north Dublin was found locally.

An appeal was launched to find Carol and Bernard Devine from Portmarnock, who are both 53-years-old, by gardai yesterday.

They have been missing from their Woodford Lane home since Tuesday morning.

And now a silver BMW car, believed to have been driven by the couple, has been found in Our Lady's Island in the south east county. This was confirmed to Dublin Live by a family member.

They contacted the local Our Lady's Island group to appeal for help in the search.
