  Man and two young girls raced to hospital following Lucan collision The extent of their injuries is not yet known .A garda spokesman told Dublin Live investigations into the incident are ongoing.He said: "Gardaí are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred in the Lucan area on 11/01/20 at approximately 11:30am."All three occupants of the car, a man aged in his 40s and two female children, were taken to hospital. The vehicle was moving Westbound when it traveled off the roadway and struck a pedestrian walking in the right shoulder. The pedestrian was transported via Life Star to Hartford Hospital. Connecticut State Police say this pedestrian was in serious condition and has now succumbed to those injuries .

Ottawa Paramedics say a teenage girl was taken to CHEO Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in Barrhaven. Ottawa Police say the 16-year-old girl was hit on Jockvale Road, just northwest of Strandherd at around 6:00 p.m. She suffered minor injuries to her lower body, according to

A GARDA WAS struck by a moving vehicle near Government Buildings last night, receiving minor injuries in the process.

The incident occurred during the planned tractor protests by farmers.

However, it is understood that the vehicle involved was not a tractor.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

In a statement to TheJournal.ie, a garda spokesperson said:

Gardaí are investigating an incident which occurred in Merrion Street, Dublin on 15 January 2020 at approximately 6pm. A Garda member was struck by a moving vehicle during the planned protests and received minor injuries.
