  Student, 20, who was tragically stabbed to death at Cork house party named locally as Cameron Blair His horrified friends immediately called an ambulance as the young men who had gate-crashed the party ran off , Cork Beo reports. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the young CIT student and he was rushed to Cork University Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.Cameron had been a very keen sportsman and this morning, Bandon Athletics Club paid tribute to the young man who had competed at local and national level with them, winning medals at West Cork, County, Munster and National levels.

A MAN IN his 60s has died in an accident on a farm in Whitegate, Co Cork after a heavy door on a grain trailer fell on top of him. 

The farmworker was helping to repair the trailer in a farmyard in Whitegate this afternoon when the accident occurred. 

It is understood the 64-year-old man was inside the trailer welding when the door which was being kept open with wooden stays broke causing it to swing and fall on top of him. 

Two other people who were working in the vicinity raised the alarm.  

Paramedics worked to revive the man but they were unable to save his life.

Man Fatally Injured in Forklift Accident at Queens Facility. The recent accident occurred on Saturday, February 11. The fatally - injured man was working at the FDNY parts depot located in Long Island City, and had been moving boxes using a forklift.

A man was been shot dead while a woman was shot and injured in a farm attack at Komatipoort in Mpumalanga on Sunday, police said. “It is alleged that the trio gained entry onto the farm by firstly attacking and restraining a security guard whose hands and feet were tied,” he said.

The death is being treated as a tragic accident.

The body will be taken to Cork University Hospital for a postmortem examination.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified. The Coroner has also been informed. 

The Health and Safety Authority has been contacted and a full investigation will be conducted as a matter of course. Gardaí are also investigating the death.

The teenage boy was charged yesterday evening with the killing of 20-year-old Cameron Blair.The youth, who can’t be named for legal reasons, appeared in court shortly after 9pm yesterday where he was charged with the murder of Cameron Blair at Bandon Road in Cork city on 16 January.
