We have just gotten rid of storm Ciara but unluckily for us, this Valentine’s Day brings the news that Storm Dennis is set to arrive.

A status yellow rain and wind warning have been placed on the whole country from 3am until 8pm on Saturday, February 15, with Storm Dennis warnings in place from 2am on Saturday until 12pm on Monday.

Met Eireann issued the warning on Friday which covers every county in Ireland, saying that spells of heavy, locally thundery rain should be expected on Saturday which will lead to some flooding.

They said: ‘Storm Dennis will bring wet and very windy weather this weekend and into Monday. There is a risk of flooding and damaging gusts.
