And with Keir Starmer, the Labor opposition finally has a chairman who exposes Johnson's mistakes, says Birgit Maass.
Düsseldorf. Thomas Kutschaty, SPD parliamentary group leader in NRW, demands at least monthly corona tests for teachers. According to him, nurses and educators should be tested for the virus even more often.
The SPD opposition in North Rhine-Westphalia demands that all nursing staff and nurses be tested once a week for the Corona virus. Teachers would have to be tested at least once a month. "Around 180,000 tests per week would be possible in NRW - but just under 80,000 are made," said SPD parliamentary group leader Thomas Kutschaty on Friday at the German Press Agency in Düsseldorf.
Fontenay: back to school will be on May 25 in all schools
© LP / M.K. Fontenay-sous-Bois. The start of the school year will take place on Monday, May 25, in the city's twenty-five schools. It is still difficult to know how many children will return to school. But for three weeks the services of the town of Fontenay-sous-Bois have been working on the reopening of the twenty-five nursery and elementary schools. The start of the new school year will be on May 25 for students of the Grand Section, CP and CM2.
"Wherever people work closely together or come together, regular tests must be the order of the day," emphasized Kutschaty. "Everything else is a corona-political blind flight." The federal and state governments therefore finally needed a plausible test strategy and would have to set up an appropriate infrastructure via the health authorities. "How else should you master the situation?" Asked the SPD politician.
