Art and antique lovers have long been put off with online viewing rooms or the hope of the fairs in Vienna and Salzburg. But this weekend the renownedwill take place in Potsdam. For the second edition, too, the Palais am Stadthaus will be transformed into a precious treasure trove of old, modern and contemporary art: “The historic city palace with its representative halls and rooms is the ideal location for the sales fair or Art & Antique art salon. The antiques and works of art can shine here in an intimate atmosphere, ”says Sandra Isabell Mann, initiator and organizer. In the Bel Étage there is furniture, porcelain, sculptures and paintings to discover. An absolute highlight is the oil painting "Boy with Horse on the Beach" by Max Liebermann (1907), presented by Another highlight: a rare wall decoration from the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. The relief of the Brandenburg Gate, designed in 1964 by the modeller Siegmund Schütz, shows Prints by Pop Art artist Alex Katz can be seen in the basement and in the Remise. And outside, in front of the splendid building and in the inner courtyard, it is not only the monumental flower sculptures by the artist Thomas Stimm that will surprise you, but also Gabriella Pape from the with an extraordinary selection of plants and special flower bulb mixtures. So the plans for the weekend are set. And in November Art & Antique will stop in Vienna and in March next year in Salzburg.
