"The same foreign buyer acquired the two dinosaurs," the Drouot auction house said, hailing "exceptional" prices for dinosaurs, though neither was a record.The diplodocus -- a herbivorous giant measuring 12 metres long from nose to tail -- fetched 1.44 million euros, compared with 1.41 million for the carnivorous allosaurus, a minnow in dinosaur terms at just 3.8 metres (12.5 feet) long.

North Mymms Park was built in 1576 belonged to the Coningsby family, High Sheriffs of the county.

And today it’s wonderful to be welcoming Millicent Fawcett, another giant of the 20th Century and campaigner for equal rights, to the home of our democracy. Like them, Millicent Fawcett’s legacy transcends time.  Almost 90 years after her death, she remains an inspirational figure, not only to the suffrage movement but a true role model to us all.
