US NewsDonald Trump Will Meet Prince Charles During UK Visit – Report
Opinions | Trump didn’t start this trade war. China did.
Beijing has been waging economic war on America for years, but now we have a president who fights back.
Donald Trump will have a face-to-face meeting with Prince Charles during his state visit to Britain next month, according to a report.
The US president will meet the heir to the throne at Charles’ Clarence House residence in London, news network CNN reported.
Trump – who is a climate change sceptic – could clash with the famously political and pro-environment prince during the meeting, which is expected to take place behind closed doors.
Visiting heads of state are normally afforded an audience with their counterpart, Queen Elizabeth II, but not the heir to the throne, the Prince of Wales.
Trump’s prized Doral resort is in steep decline, according to company documents, showing his business problems are mounting
Eric Trump said the resort was “on fire,” but the company later said profitability was down 69 percent.
Charles met Trump and his wife Melania previously in November 2005 at an occasion in New York.
Clarence House was not immediately available to confirm CNN’s report when contacted by HuffPost UK.
