Man charged with murder after woman's body found in bin
A man has been charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found in a wheelie bin in East Sussex. Richard Canlin, 41, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder after the body of 39-year-old Nicola Stevenson was found by a dog walker.Her body was found in a wheelie bin that had been "dumped in the undergrowth" at the edge of a recreation ground in Lewes at 12.30pm last Wednesday, according to police.Detectives say Ms Stevenson suffered a significant head injury and a post-mortem shows she died as a result of blunt force trauma to her head.Her next-of-kin have been informed.

Officers discovered the body of a man on Wednesday at a farm at Cromhall, near Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire following a two-day search.
Investigations are ongoing at the site in Cowship Lane, but Avon and Somerset Police say that the death is not believed to be suspicious.
A police spokesperson said: "Sadly the body of a man was found in an unused septic tank at a property in the Cowship Lane area in Cromhall.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.The incident happened at the merging of the off ramp and the M50 at Junction 5 Southbound at around 7.45am.
"The family of the missing man have been informed but formal identification still has to be carried out.
"The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious, pending the outcome of a postmortem.
"The coroner has been advised."
