A fatal fire occurred during the night of Friday to this Saturday in a building in Paris. The death toll was of one person dead, two seriously injured and ten more slightly affected, said a spokesman for firefighters, Florian Lointier.

The deceased is an elderly woman living on the fourth floor. She could not be saved by the firefighters. 130 of them intervened on site.

The fire broke out for an unknown cause "shortly before midnight" in an apartment on the third floor of a building located at 10 rue des Ternes, in the 17th arrondissement of the capital.
