Farid Ikken was sentenced to 28 years in prison. This Algerian attacked police officers with a hammer on the forecourt of Notre-Dame de Paris in 2017. He claimed to be part of the Islamic State group.

Farid Ikken, a 43-year-old Algerian, tried for the attack on a police officer with a hammer in front of Notre-Dame in June 2017 , was sentenced to 28 years in prison by the special assize court in Paris on Wednesday October 14.
