After FC Augsburg (against front runner RB Leipzig), SC Freiburg will have to play its home game against Werder Bremen on Saturday (3.30 p.m. / Sky) without a spectator.

The second division game between 1. FC Heidenheim and VfL Osnabrück on Sunday can take place.

On Friday there was great confusion in Heidenheim. First five Swabian players tested positive for COVID-19, but in the evening a further series of tests in another laboratory, in the local clinic, revealed that all were negative. The FCH then assumed a faulty first test.

Nevertheless, one had to undergo another series of tests on Saturday, this happened again in the Heidenheim Clinic - and again all results were negative. Nothing stands in the way of the league game against Osnabrück. The local health department gave its consent - and coach Frank Schmidt's team resumed team training on Saturday afternoon.

For the Heidenheimers, the matter is far from off the table, because as the club announced, they are now checking whether legal action should be taken against the original laboratory.
