The provisional results are already heavy. At least four people died and 34 were injured by a bomb explosion Tuesday (October 27th) in a madrassa in Peshawar, the capital of northwestern Pakistan, police sources said.

A local journalist reports 19 children among the injured, 15 of whom were taken to the nearest hospital.

"The explosion occurred while teaching the Quran. Someone took a bag (trapped) to the 'inside the religious seminary, "leaving at least" 4 dead and 34 wounded, "Waqar Azim, a police official, told AFP. Mohammad Ali Gangapur, another officer, confirmed the attack and its death toll to AFP. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

This attack comes after months of relative calm in Pakistan, and particularly in Peshawar, once ravaged by daily attacks, but where security has greatly improved.
