An Iranian passenger plane ended up belly-down in the middle of a highway after reportedly skidding off the runway during a botched landing . A reporter who was on board the aircraft said that the back wheel of the plane had broken off and that the plane had skidded on its fuselage.

The landing gear broken?

An investigation opened

Upon their arrival on site, the firefighters sprayed the device as a safety measure. An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the accident, the Iranian civil aviation organization announced.
