Three Yemenis have failed to prevent or at least restrict drone attacks against targets in their home country via the American Air Base Ramstein. The Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig dismissed their complaints on Wednesday evening (Az .: 6 C 7.19).

The 2021 Rhineland - Palatinate state election will be held on 14 March 2021 to elect the members of the 18th Landtag of Rhineland - Palatinate .

Rhineland - Palatinate is a western state of Germany. It covers 19,846 km2 (7,663 sq mi) and has about 4.05 million residents. It is the ninth largest and sixth most populous of the sixteen states .

The Rhineland-Palatinate SPD has chosen the incumbent Prime Minister Malu Dreyer as the top candidate for the state elections next year. The 59-year-old was elected to the first place in the list at the state representative assembly in Mainz with 99.7 percent of the delegate's votes, as the party announced on Saturday in the online service Twitter. The 59-year-old has been Prime Minister of the country since 2013. In Rhineland-Palatinate, a new state parliament is to be elected on March 14th.

In a survey by Südwestrundfunk in September, the CDU was clearly ahead with 34 percent. Dreyer's SPD only achieved 26 percent. The incumbent traffic light coalition made up of the SPD, FDP and the Greens had a slim majority. The two coalition partners have already chosen their top candidates. Family minister Anne Spiegel stands for the Greens, while the FDP elected deputy state chairwoman Daniela Schmitt to the top of the list.
