Our criticism of Sense of celebration : After two immense successes ( Intouchables, Samba ) on the theme of the improbable encounter, the Todelano-Nakache tandem is this time creating a delicious choral comedy on living together, very funny but not only. Once again, humor is a shrewd way to address class relations, point out mental barriers between individuals or denounce the disabled for benevolence, without spoiling the mood. The east angle is quite politically correct, more Care Bears than Guevariste. And their sense of the word regales us with a festival of bon mots served by a gala troupe. In Jean-Pierre Bacri, more touching than eternal grumpy, they find a conductor of contagious humanity with whom they share the taste of others. Otherwise the party has no meaning. (Julien Barcilon)
