Slovakia loses one of its legends.

Jozef Vengloš passed away on Tuesday at the age of 84. The former Slovak coach led Slovan Bratislava to two Czechoslovakian championship titles in 1974 and 1975, before being assistant to Václav Ježek when Czechoslovakia won their first Euro 1976 title. Celtic and Aston Villa, Vengloš was the first non-British or Irish coach to lead an English Premier League club when he arrived at Villa in 1990. He was also Slovakia's first coach after gaining independence in 1993 .
