Istanbul, July 24 (Reuters) - Two Turkish soldiers were killed and two other wounded in the Attack of their armored vehicle in northern Syria, Turkish forces immediately returned.

"Our response shots against terrorist positions continue," says Turkish Defense on Twitter on Saturday.

This attack occurred in the region where Turkey launched the cross-border operation "Euphrates' shield" in 2016 to hunt Islamic militants and the Syrian Kurdish militia YPG (People's Protection Units).

According to the media, the attack took place in the Al-Bab region, a city located about 30 kilometers northeast of Aleppo.

Turkey continues to exercise its hold on northwestern Syria and has a significant military presence.
