Tibou Kamara was released in the afternoon. A few hours later, the CNRD confirmed the interpellation in a press release at the end of the day on public television. The former Minister and Advisor of Alpha Condé is accused of having contravened neutral commitments to the new power.

In some lines, the CNRD recalls in its statement that the outgoing government members must refrain from any action or communication of a nature to disrupt the new established order.

According to CNRD, in this sense "a commitment was made by former Prime Minister Ibrahima Kassory Fofana on behalf of all members of his Government." "It is due to the manifest and repeated violation of this commitment that former Minister Tibou Kamara was arrested and heard," says the junta, without clarifying what is criticized, but indicating that "several objects in relation to this violation were seized ".

Finally, in his communiqué, the CNRD who says to make justice his compass, reassures the Guineans that no hunt for witches will be conducted against anyone.
