Alexei Navalny, whose name was proposed by the European People's Party (EPP, where LR elected sit) and Renew group Europe (RE, whose members elected Modem and LREM) for his courage in the fight for freedom, democracy and human rights, is a figure of the Russian opposition and anti-corruption activist. The Sakharov Prize, a prestigious award
