Shanghai, November 30 (Xinhua) - The big carrier line C919, which was developed by China, obtained its certificate of production Tuesday, allowing the model to enter into mass production.

The company Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, which has developed the C919, received the certificate from the regional administration in eastern China from the China Civil Aviation Administration.

The plane successfully carried out its first flight in 2017. It obtained its type certificate at the end of September, meaning that the design of the C919 meets the navigability criteria and the environmental requirements.

The first C919 plane is expected to be issued to the China Eastern Airlines company in December.
