Here's a look at our most important stories for the week ending June 13.Here's a look at what was hot on Roadshow from June 7-13.
At the beginning of July, BMW announced that Michael van der Mark would be for the WSBK season 2021 Works team from Munich. Yamaha had to start looking for a successor. It is still unclear who will take over from Van der Mark in the coming season. Loris Baz is one of the candidates, but there are other names in the running.
"Either I'll join the works team or I'll stay with Ten Kate," says Loris Baz of his plan for the 2021 season. "I have always said that I like to stay with Ten Kate. Of course, I've been working hard for three years to get back on track To get a works motorcycle. It's hard to say no to a works motorcycle. I would like to ride there. "
"I have a good relationship with Toprak (Razgatlioglu), but it's not in my hands at the moment. A decision will be made in the coming weeks," commented Baz on WorldSBK.com. But it is already certain that Baz will get a technically better package than this year.
"I will get full works support. It doesn't matter whether I stay with Ten Kate or join the works team. That's positive," says the delighted Frenchman, who has been driving for Ten Kate since summer 2019 and is currently ninth in the World Championship.
