Sweet 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Wows In Every Way

Sweet 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Wows In Every Way This C2 is some serious eye candy from any angle. Few cars, American or otherwise, evoke the same kind of response as a classic C2 Stingray. Even among those legends, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is drop-dead gorgeous. The car has benefited from an obviously quite thorough body-off restoration process that left no detail out of place. As a result, this car is immaculate enough to be displayed in a museum or any venue you can imagine. All 31 of the fiberglass panels have been painted a silky smooth black, hugging every amazing curve.

There may be 2020 model year vehicles arriving at dealerships, but for those looking to score the best deal on a new car, know there are actually 2018 models sitting around as well.

This Chevy Blazer Chalet Camper Needs A New Home

This Chevy Blazer Chalet Camper Needs A New Home Do you have room in your garage? require(["medianetNativeAdOnArticle"], function (medianetNativeAdOnArticle) { medianetNativeAdOnArticle.getMedianetNativeAds(true); }); Converting off-road vehicles into campers isn’t a new trend. Back in the late 1970s, General Motors built the Chevy Blazer Chalet camper, a converted Blazer with a tiny camper attached. Over two years of production, Chevrolet sold just 1,800 Chalets. While they are rare, one is up for sale through Masterpiece Vintage Cars, which has a 1977 Chevy Blazer Chalet camper eager for a new home.

And since these vehicles have been sitting around for so long, automakers and dealers are eager to pile cash on the hood to move them out. iSeeCars surveyed two million new cars for sale and found that 4% of them are from the 2018 model year. However, of that 4%, there are 10 models that have exceptional inventory surpluses.

First on the list is the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, with 19.5% of the SUV s on lots from the older model year. Right behind it is the regular Wrangler with 16.8%. For those eager for one of the off-road SUVs, locating a 2018 model will likely result in some significant savings.

The only luxury model on the list is the Porsche Macan, with 15.3% for still hailing from the 2018 model year. Discounts for the Macan have dipped as deep as $7,900 off the luxury SUV. In fourth sits the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross with 12.5% from the 2018 model year, but the Dodge Durango also boasts a 12.5% inventory surplus to create a tie.

Rare Muscle Cars Stolen From CT Farm

Rare Muscle Cars Stolen From CT Farm A classic Camaro and Mustang were lifted from a rural Connecticut property. You'd think that nestling a collection of classic cars on a 144-acre farm should keep them protected from thieves, but sadly that isn't the case for two iconic pony cars. The Connecticut State Police are searching for a 1966 Ford Mustang and 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that were stolen from a 234-year-old farm in Voluntown, CT at some point between November 2018 and March 2019.

Rounding out the list are the Chrysler Pacifica (9.6% surplus), Chevrolet Malibu (8.7%), Ford EcoSport (8.4%), Jeep Compass (7.7%) and Kia Optima (7.1%). While the study didn't provide concrete reasons as to why these models have such large surpluses sitting around at dealers, a number of factors may provide an explanation.

Buyers may be waiting for a vehicle refresh or specific feature in a new model year. The vehicle might also simply be declining in popularity (see: Chevrolet Malibu). In fact, in a separate ranking of discontinued models new vehicles with the highest 2018 inventory, every single one is a sedan. The Ford Taurus , notably, has 52.9% inventory from the 2018 model year, or 13 times more than the average vehicle. It's no surprise with more consumers turning to crossovers , SUVs and trucks , sedans are piling up at dealerships.
