This car was customized Richard Zocchi's Custom Cars of Walnut Creek, California, and from the looks of it, this car's body is almost completely custom  while retaining the Polara's unique profile. The front end features a cleaner version of the Polara's original grille, and some of the hood metal has been shaved away to create a smoother leading edge. The chopped top, shaved handles and lowered stance all give this custom Polara an amazing look, but it's the rear end that really makes this car pop. Surprisingly, those full-width taillights are original, but the car's original subtle attempt at fins have been upgraded to a set of prominent, Cadillac-esque fins. To finish off the custom look, this 1968 Dodge Polara received a vanilla and butterscotch pearl exterior paint as well as matching ultrasuede interior.

500+ HP Wagon: 1966 Dodge Coronet Deluxe Station Wagon

500+ HP Wagon: 1966 Dodge Coronet Deluxe Station Wagon It’s not every day you come across a station wagon that’s “ready to be taken to any drag strip.” In my opinion, wagons are one of the most practical vehicle configurations possible, and honestly, I really enjoy the styling of most wagons. It’s a shame that in today’s market, crossover SUVs have mostly replaced wagons, and while that’s another tangent for another day, you’d be hard pressed to transform a crossover into something as radical as this 1966 Dodge Coronet Deluxe Station Wagon.

1968 Dodge Polara ”. Having learned to drive in cars almost identical to this one, I've always been a fan of the big & brawny Mopars of this era. I like the boxy yet bold styling, these cars look good from any angle, and they have incredible amounts of interior and trunk room. And even with a V8 engine

It's obvious a lot of love and labor went into the creation of this car, and the hard work has definitely paid off. According to Zocchi's site, this Polara is an award-winning car brining home first place at both the 2010 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California and Sacramento AutoRama.

If you want to make this one-of-a-kind Polara part of your car collection, then check it out as it crosses the GAA Classic Cars auction block on Saturday, July 27.

Sinister styling meets Mopar muscle. One reason for this correlation is that the Charger combines a distinct and sporty styling with Mopar's usual under-hood muscle. If you're looking for a car with mean looks and even meaner muscle, then check out the 1968 Dodge Charger R/T up for sale by Hollywood Motors.
