On Friday morning, several Greenville police cruisers sat in the parking lot where Dunbar died as officers continued their investigation.

Dianne Bolden, the manager of a Pizza Hut on Augusta Road, said a car speeding away from the scene of the shooting across the street from the restaurant crashed through a wood fence on the business' property and came to a stop next to her building.

She said her employees then saw a man get out of the car, run around the back of the building and flee the scene on foot.

On Friday morning, splintered wood remained on the ground next to gap in the wooden fence, along with snapped saplings the vehicle ran over before coming to stop.
