Millennials More Interested In Owning Classic Cars Than Boomers

Millennials More Interested In Owning Classic Cars Than Boomers And that's according to a study involving over 10,000 Americans. Part of the joys (and pains) of owning a classic car is the nostalgia and memories that come with the vehicle. It might be because of the events that happened when the car came out, or it could also be because the owner once had one in the past. Plus restoration and modification to keep up are also a fun thing to enjoy. require(["medianetNativeAdOnArticle"], function (medianetNativeAdOnArticle) { medianetNativeAdOnArticle.

It's the only one in existence.

We’ve seen many cool Corvettes for sale - from a Viper and a Corvette C4 mashup to a Corvette C6 made to look like a C2. But we’ve never seen anything like this Corvette C6 with a custom body.

Corvette C2 icon aims for record price - US racing car from 1967 is auctioned off

Corvette C2 icon aims for record price - US racing car from 1967 is auctioned off Will this be the most expensive Corvette ever? Mecum Auctions is auctioning off a C2 convertible that is more than just a successful ex-racing car. It also has the coveted L88 equipment. © Mecum Auctions The bar is high: In 2014 Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale auctioned a 1967 Corvette Sting Ray for $ 3.85 million (currently a good € 3.4 million). What made this car the most expensive Corvette ever? Well ... an equipment package with the simple designation L88.

It’s made by the Californian coachbuilder N2A (No Two Alike), “a custom auto manufacturer and car factory specializing in designing, engineering and building prototype, concept and limited production vehicles for OEMs, corporations, movies, and private owners,” as the firm’s official site says. The complete build cost nearly $150,000 when purchased new.

As you can see from the images, the exterior and interior are completely different from the original Corvette C6. It somehow reminds us of the Spyker C8 but the build quality looks even better from what we are able to see. The body, interior, wheels, tires, and other components were all built from N2A especially for this car.

“This is really a supercar without the supercar price and without the problem of finding someone to work on it without paying a fortune with the engine and transmission being Corvette most anyone in the world can repair it reasonably,” the seller of the car says. And, honestly, this makes sense.

For Sale: Very Last Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Sold In The US This is a car we'd totally love to see in our garages. The Mitsubishi 3000GT is one of the 1990s cars that made Ferrari nervous about its performance crown. It remains one of our all-time favorite models of the Japanese company that always reminds us of its famed history. Today, we have one very special example of the 3000GT that’s currently up for sale. As you can see, this is by far not just a regular 3000GT. First, it’s from the VR-4 version, of which just 287 examples were sold in the United States.
