As car enthusiasts, we all have our dream cars. Some dream of a day when they’ll be able to sit behind the wheel of their very own track-capable Ferrari. While others opt for the emotional gratification that comes with an older model of car. In this case, the former owner of this luxurious Cadillac from over 100 years ago chose the latter of the two. Of course, every classic car comes with an emotional background and this is no exception to that rule.
Motorcycle Monday: Harley Torques Up The Nostalgia
Only, there’s a different twist to it this time… If you’ve been paying even casual attention to American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson, you know the company is in a tight spot. Some have predicted the slow death of the brand as its bad-boy image, lack of meaningful innovation, and government protections converge in a perfect storm scenario. Others just take issue with the design of Harley-Davidson bikes, including reliability problems. Then there’s the problem of declining motorcycle ridership in North America.

Secretly sharing his design with Stroppe mechanic Dick Russell, the pair began building a Bronco that would go on to change Baja racing forever. Initially upset by the deception of his team sneaking around behind his back, Bill Stroppe quickly saw the extreme potential in Jones’ designs and jumped on board. Colorado Car Crash Obliterates 2 Classic Cars
And the classic cars weren’t even on the road… A driver veered off I-25 in Wellington, Colorado, broke through a fence, drove across a field, smashed through a tree barrier, and crashed into a garage where 3 classic cars were parked, damaging 2 of them. That person then got out of their vehicle and fled the scene. By the time fire crews arrived, the suspect’s car was on fire, but they were able to extinguish the blaze before it did further damage.Learn why Chevrolet Camaro production is getting shut down again here.

Two 22-gallon fuel cells allowed the racer to drive longer with less fuel stops and built in thermos jugs kept the team hydrated through the grueling race.

Thousands Of Barn Find Bikes
Right off the bat, we see a whole lineup of Honda motorcycles from back when they absolutely blindsided Harley-Davidson in the 60s. Motorcycle Monday: 1952 Harley-Davidson Captain America Crash Bike .
This controversial motorcycle from Easy Rider appears once more… Back in 1969 Easy Rider wowed audiences with its counterculture flair, making it a hit with people who favored a life of drug abuse, communal living, and the hippie movement in general. That’s understandable, because the customized bike turned a lot of heads and helped further galvanize that outlaw Harley rider image which is still controversial today.
