135 drawings and sculptures of Karl-Jean Longet are currently exhibited at the museum of Vergers in Reims. The exhibition, entitled Karl-Jean Longuet. Draw and sculpter intends to renew the cultural mediation devices by modifying the arrangement of works by placing them at the height of the spectators. The bodies and faces, in all forms, are installed at the height of the public. "The scenography is made to be in the spirit of the artist's workshop and his works. The question of the table is interesting since we are really as close as possible to the works. We see the material, the tools used ", Details Marie-Hélène Montout-Richard, chief curator. A more intimate atmosphere, for adults but also for children. "We tried to do something for families with this children's wall, with accompanying booklets," she adds.

"This allows you to see if all of this works, possibly reassuring us, and then to see if the public adheres to the new presentation of the works," says Pascal Labelle, assistant to culture and heritage. This original staging will be visible until March 3, 2023. It gives a taste of the actions planned for the future Museum of Fine Arts in Reims, the end of the work is scheduled for 2025.
