Several thousand vehicles will have to return to the garage. The German Porsche (Volkswagen group) will recall 117,425 cars imported into China, due to the risk of fuel leakage caused by a defective valve, announced the Chinese regulator of the automotive sector. The recall will start on April 1 and concerns part of the cars in the Macan series manufactured between March 5, 2014 and March 14, 2018, the regulator said on Friday.

Recalls are frequent for the car manufacturer. In 2015, Porsche had already recalled nearly 60,000 vehicles worldwide due to the risk of an engine leak. In December 2018, more than 70,000 Panamera models had to return to the garage due to a steering problem. Finally, in June 2019, the German manufacturer had to launch a vast recall campaign for a gear lever problem on more than 300,000 vehicles of the brand.
