Suzuki Is Working On A New Electric Model For India

Suzuki Is Working On A New Electric Model For India It's now a race to see what cool electric bikes manufacturers in India can come up with. require(["medianetNativeAdOnArticle"], function (medianetNativeAdOnArticle) { medianetNativeAdOnArticle.getMedianetNativeAds(true); }); While introducing the brand new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 in Ahmedabad on June 11, 2019, Suzuki India also announced something else. Koichiro Hirao, Suzuki India head, confirmed to all assembled that the company has big electric plans coming very soon. You see, the country is about to be ground zero for small electric bike and scooter development.

Suzuki has announced its first set of new and returning models for the 2020 model year, and as we suspected, things are pretty same old, same old in the company's cruiser department. There are only three cruiser models in the lineup that Suzuki's released, and we have no reason to believe there'll be any surprise additions in the near future. You have your Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S., the Boulevard C50T touring cruiser, and its base-model progenitor, the Boulevard C50, all returning to Suzuki's 2020 cruiser lineup, with the only changes being some new color options and different pricing. Missing are last year's C90, C90T, M90, M50, and S40 models from the Boulevard line; there's not even a TU250X or VanVan to be found in the standard group. Which isn't all that surprising when you see that Harley only has four Sportsters for 2020, and Yamaha has almost completely done away with its Star cruiser line as of last year.

2018 Suzuki GSX250R Has Only 4 Miles

2018 Suzuki GSX250R Has Only 4 Miles This thing is brand new, but you get it far a deep discount. Some call it a miniature GSX-R, which is a bit of a misnomer, but one thing this 2018 Suzuki GSX250R represents is a tremendous deal. Take one good look at it and you’d swear it’s brand new, because it essentially is. Only 4 miles are on the odometer, so you get a nice, fun, and approachable bike at a tremendous deal, thanks to Mutual Enterprises Inc. Anyone familiar with Suzuki’s heritage and current crop of bikes will immediately see the resemblance to the GSX-R models. This motorcycle also borrows from the legendary Katana.

The big, beefy 1,783cc Suzuki Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S. rolls into 2020 at an MSRP of $15,199—and still bearing some of the biggest pistons in the industry. You’ll have your choice of two new two-tone paint schemes this year: Pearl Glacier White No.2/Glass Sparkle Black or Metallic Oort Gray No.3/Glass Sparkle Black. As we all know, B.O.S.S. stands for “Blacked Out Special Suzuki,” so you’ll know just what else to expect for the rest of the palette when it starts arriving at Suzuki dealers in October 2019.

Holding down the touring end of the lineup is the Suzuki Boulevard C50T, which also gets fresh paint for 2020. Metallic Oort Gray No.3 is the new hue on this shield-and-bag-equipped tourer, which also gets updated tank graphics. You’ll also ogle more than your recommended daily allowance of studs, artfully arranged on the seat and saddlebags. The tour-ready version of the C50 rolls with the same 50ci 45-degree V-twin, and base MSRP is $9,599 for 2020. Expect to see the C50T in Suzuki dealers this month.

Suzuki’s standard-issue (and smoking deal) classic midsize cruiser comes in the form of the long-running C50, with its familiar spoked wheels, swooping fenders and a liquid-cooled 805cc V-twin connected to a five-speed transmission and shaft drive. New color schemes for 2020 include Candy Daring Red or Glass Sparkle Black, with the base MSRP starting at $8,299. The 2020 Suzuki Boulevard C50 should also be in dealers by September.

Harley Announces New Bikes, Colors, And A Trike For 2020 All the new newness headed to your local showroom soon. Harley-Davidson just announced its 2020 model year lineup, and there are no major shakeups to report. Director Jason already told you his thoughts on the 2020 Harley-Davidson LiveWire, which is Harley’s first stab at an electric bike. While we all have our favorites, there are also four other new models headed to H-D showrooms across the land.

2020 Suzuki SV650X

Nope, it’s not a Boulevard cruiser, but it’s still a bike we’ve covered on this site, and it’s returning to the 2020 Suzuki lineup in the standard category. We’re talking about the Suzuki SV650X, the 645cc, clip-on-wearing, café-flavored version of the SV650. It’ll come in the new Glass Sparkle Black color this year, with a price tag of $8,399 (base). You can check it out at Suzuki dealers in November 2019.
