Hyundai Prophecy concept previews curve-heavy EV styling

Hyundai Prophecy concept previews curve-heavy EV styling It definitely doesn't look like any other Hyundai -- or any other car, for that matter.Hyundai on Tuesday unveiled the Prophecy electric concept car. Built atop a platform dedicated to electric vehicles, the Prophecy's on-the-nose name all but tells us that Hyundai will be looking to incorporate some of these design elements in its future cars . It's a wild departure from last year's concept EV, the 45, which leaned more heavily on vintage rectilinear looks.

One silver lining of all these soul-crushing stay-at-home orders? Lots of time to surf the web for dopey pet videos, “how-to-build a chicken coop” plans, and unexpectedly cool custom bike contests. Our latest find is all about Honda’s CB model, which really got the adrenaline going for us: Whether it’s a ratty old 550 from the ’70s or one of the sportier modern bikes, we’ve always had a soft spot for the venerable CB.

The contest in question, though, focuses on Honda’s Neo-Sports Café flagship CB1000R and, in particular, revisits 12 of the continent’s top customized examples, first shown at last year’s Wheel and Waves festival in Biarritz, France. The builds were created by Honda, its dealers, and partner custom shops from across Europe, and loop in influences from a pretty wide range of models, personalities, and themes.
