As can be seen from various national homologation dates, Triumph is revising its 900 twin-cylinder family. The Bonneville, however, seems to be omitted.
So far, the British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has left its 900 twin-cylinder models at the Euro 4 level. But don't worry, the Twins will probably be converted to Euro 5. At least that is what the data on emissions classification in the USA and Germany have now revealed.Bonneville no longer listed
The Street Twin and Street Scrambler models will be updated accordingly. The Bonneville T100 is not listed as a Euro 5 model at least in the documents of the Federal Motor Transport Authority as of December 2020. The Street Scrambler becomes the Street Scrambler Sand. The US records list the latter as the Street Scrambler Sandstorm and the Street Twin as the Street Twin Goldline.
According to the KBA data, the two 900s will come again in power variants with open 65 hp and as an A2 throttle version with 48 hp. The nominal speeds, which differ from those of the Euro 4 models, point to new adjustments for the Euro 5 standard. There are no discernible deviations in terms of dimensions and weights. For this, the Euro 5 models will probably evolve visually. To date, however, no information is available on this.
