At BMW, the error can trigger airbags and belt tensioners unnecessarily - and just annoying at Toyota. © Thomas Gerhardt The belt buckles are currently causing problems for both BMW and Toyota. In the case of Munich, an incorrectly installed sensor system within the belt buckle can lead to erroneous triggering of the airbags and belt tensioners provided for this seat. In Germany, the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) monitors the recall, which affects 736 in Germany and 10,373 worldwide.

semi-convertible: Freshly ironed on: Porsche launches new 911 Targa
© Porsche As with the original Targa from the late 1960s, it is not a convertible top that is completely folded back, but only the middle roof section between the A and B pillars. Around six years ago, Porsche returned to the original roof concept with a roll bar for the Targa. So successful that the new generation is now sticking to it. Just over a year after the coupé and convertible, Porsche is now launching the Targa variant of the new 911.

Like the Tiguan, the new model is based on the Modular Transverse Toolkit (MQB) of the brand and shows itself in the classic Tiguan style; apart from the coupé-like roof line, new tailpipes, a new rear apron and the continuous rear lights in the Lamborghini design. The Tiguan X is powered by a 2.0-liter TSI with 186 hp. As an alternative, there is another expansion stage with 220 hp.
The Tayron X from VW-FAW is 4.64 meters shorter than the Tiguan X. Its wheelbase is only 2.68 meters. Here, too, the two-liter four-cylinder turbo works with 186 and optionally 220 hp in the bow. Neither the Tayron X nor the Tiguan X are intended for the German market.Skoda also with SUV coupé for China
The VW brand Skoda also has an SUV coupé in China with partner SAIC and the Kamiq GT. However, it is not the modern MQB that is used here, but the old PQ platform that already carried the VW Golf IV. This model is also reserved for China only.
