Two BMW teams are in the IMSA season 2022 on completely different ways into the new one Year Start: Turner Motorsport, a longtime BMW partner, has introduced its new BMW M4 GT3 for the 24h of Daytona and announced the driver's quartet. Paul Miller has opted for a change from Lamborghini to the new M4, but must suspend the long-distance classic in Daytona.
Turner has already received the successor to the M6 GT3, which was already tested in Daytona. The racing team has been launched for six seasons with BMW Power in the IMSA and has decided early for the new M4 GT3. An M mode button on the console allows you to select Road, Sport, or Track. More often, you end up using the M1 and M2 programmable buttons on the steering wheel, and that's where your choices get daunting.
Turner recently opened his new base in Newton (New Hampshire) and Jay O'Connell, who previously worked on the team's sro program, is designed as a racing engineer for the 24h Daytona. Team boss wants Turner says: "The team Bill and Robby is as good as any other, so our expectations are pretty high. Jens has invested a lot of time in the development of the M4 GT3. Michael has developed very well in the past season."
While Turner is already fully in preparation on the long-distance classic in Florida, Team Paul Miller will be damned damned. The racing team has decided after six seasons with Lamborghini for a change of manufacturers. The choice fell on BMW, but the new M4 GT3 is only ready for the second seasonal run in Sebring, which is why the team will not start in Daytona.

"As someone who has been closely associated with BMW as a trader for more than 20 years, I have experienced the performance of the road vehicles first-hand and observed the successes in racing," says team boss Miller. He reveals that the BMW M4 should be delivered only in April. However, the manufacturer has pushed powerfully to the accelerator pedal to deliver a vehicle to the team in Sebring.
