Rejection hurts right, but that doesn’t mean that you hold back yourself every time after being rejected . The way you choose to respond to rejection , however, could determine the entire course of your future. So here are 5 effective ways to overcome rejection .

5 Steps to Effectively Overcome Rejection © Provided by Rodale Inc. Rejection of any kind can often be debilitating. Our inner child, which processes the heart break, internalizes it as feedback, thinks that there's something wrong with us, or that we are lacking something in some way.

The truth is, rejection has zero to do with who we are, and everything to do with the mind allowing itself to believe that we have ever lacked anything in the first place.

Rejection to our mind and inner child is a real experience, and it's important to fully honor and acknowledge the process. When we do, we can actually take the first steps to making ourselves resilient to it in the future. This will come handy whenever we are made to feel powerless, or anything less than the extraordinary being we have been created to be.

Answer honestly.: Next time a friend asks you how you're doing, resist the urge to leave it at 7 Little Ways To Be More Fearless In Your Relationships

Ask yourself these questions: Have you ever given up on something, or dimmed your light because you felt you'd be rejected, or that someone would say no? Have you ever self-sabotaged yourself, or started something new that felt exciting to you, and then never finished it because insecurities started to show? If you're being honest, then you probably answered yes. As humans, we've all felt rejected at one time in our lives, and have allowed ourselves to hide as a result of it.

For those of us who are empaths, and tend to want to please everyone around us, rejection can be extra painful. Empaths who continue to put themselves out in the world in an open way, who intend to inspire and empower humanity, experience rejection every day.

Frustration. It winds you up and can take so much out of you. Because it not only sucks energy but also distracts you and can steal quite a bit of time. So what can you do? Well, sometimes that frustration can actually be a positive and can give you a new idea or angle on things.

Overcoming religious strongholds is necessary to overcome the effects of rejection . You're not going to settle rejection issues fully until you get it down into your spirit that you are accepted, loved, and appreciated by God. Dealing with religious strongholds is vital to this process, as religion paints God

However, here are a few things that can help us make peace with rejection so that we can continue shining our light, as bright as billions of combined suns:

1. It's a common experience.
Understand that everyone goes through rejection, and we're not alone.

2. You can handle it.
Our Spirit knew we could handle it, that's why we're being called to be such a powerful light for humanity (whether with a platform or behind the scenes,) and contribute to raising the consciousness of the planet.

3. See the advantage.
We can use rejection as feedback that something more expansive, and aligned with who we really are, is headed our way.

4. Pay the kindness forward.
Whenever we feel rejected, we can find an opportunity to make others feel even more seen, heard, and acknowledged in an authentic way. And of course, make sure we are doing the exact same for ourselves.

5. Remember to love yourself.
We can pamper and nurture ourselves often, as a form of self-love and respect. This will make it so that no matter what is going on in the world around us, our love for ourselves makes it so that we have our own back unconditionally. Then, we can process through any rejection coming our way much more quickly.

How planning for failure can help you reach your weight loss goals .
Forget willpower. An implementation intention, or "failure planing," is a pre-planned response for how you deal with negative events in your life. For many of us, willpower may seem like an impossible obstacle to overcome. But if you plan ahead, you won't need to rely on it to achieve your goals, according to "Willpower Doesn't Work" author Benjamin P. Hardy.Hardy calls this kind of preparation an "implementation intention." The strategy requires visualizing not only your goals but also any potential obstacles and how you will overcome them.
