The 1 Thing I Do Every Day That's Reignited My Relationship With My Husband

The 1 Thing I Do Every Day That's Reignited My Relationship With My Husband After almost 12 years of marriage and four kids together, I still make a point to kiss my husband every chance I get. Our lips may meet over a baby changing table or in the middle of the morning rush, and it may only last for a brief second, but it's so important that we make this physical connection as often as possible. Because I need to know that no matter how crazy things get, and no matter how far away we get from those (really young!) people who said "I do," we're still in there somewhere - just him and me - and still in love.

There's no blueprint for the perfect husband - at least not one that I'm privy to - but there are some solid traits that most if not every woman wants in a husband . If we could build the perfect partner (or close to it!), here are 15 traits we would be sure to have in the most amazing husband , ever!

1. A man who treats everyone around him with kindness - from janitor to CEO, is swoon-worthy.

2. That man who remembers the things that matter to you - and the things that make you smile or cry? He is a keeper.

3. A man who listens. A man who hears what you have to say, even if he doesn't always agree with you.

4. A man who allows himself to be vulnerable. When a man shows himself to us, we are in awe.

5. But don't forget, the strong man is still appreciated. When you can be there for us when we crumble, that's a man we will marry.

6. Does he reach for your hand or the small of your back or waist? An affectionate but not pushy man will always get us.

7. Be our cheerleader. A man who pushes us to go the extra mile is a partner for life.

8. A man with a sharp tongue is not marriage-worthy, but a man who selects his words carefully with us, is.

9. If he finds you gorgeous and genuinely tells you this without fluff, he might be one to snatch forever.

10. Yes, we are independent women, but a man who can provide and is good with a dollar, is a mate we want to share our lives with.

11. He says sorry. A man with husband potential knows when he is wrong - and says it.

12. And when we fail, someone who can forgive us and accept our apologies . . . a real classy man.

13. If he isn't possessive, his trust in you makes him one to say, "I do" to.

14. He speaks out for you and stands by you, even while you are on shaky legs. That's a husband.

15. Independent and self-aware, we like a man who has a life of interests and a direction of his own.

‘Super Smeller’ Grandmother Can Detect Parkinson’s Disease by People’s Scent.
The 68-year-old, from Scotland, said she’s always noticed when her patients’ smell would change during her years as a nurse. “They say [my nose is] somewhere between a dog and a human. And I take that as a compliment,” Milne said on the Today show. Her extra-sensitive sense of smell was the first to notice, decades ago, that something was wrong with her husband. All of a sudden he started smelling off. “He was only 31, going on 32, it was that summer. I thought, well, I’m not going to nag about this,” she said. Then, a little over a decade later at age 45, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
