Last Halloween, we heard rumors that new flavors of Skittles would be rising from the dead this year to haunt trick-or-treat bags and candy dishes. The rumors have come true: Packs of Zombie Skittles have already been spotted at stores around the country. We know it’s a little early to start thinking of Halloween treats, but it’s still fun to start hunting for the season’s new candy flavors and dreaming of Halloween costumes while sipping on summer drinks.

Your treat could turn into a bit of a trick, though. Zombie Skittles didn’t earn their name just by putting a zombie on the package. There’s at least one Skittle flavor lurking in each bag with a more undead flavor. According to Mars, the Rotten Zombie Skittle is “ready to attack your palate with notes of soil and decay.” But since they’re hidden, you won't be able to tell them apart from the others just by sight. Creepy!

We expect Zombie Skittles will be more readily available once we’re closer to Halloween, but a few dedicated zombie hunters have already spotted them in stores. If you’re brave enough to risk trying them alongside your other Halloween sweets, you’ll be able to find share-size packs for $1.89, regular-size bags for $2.49, and bags with individual fun-size packs for $2.99 (perfect for trick-or-treaters!). Keep your eyes peeled, because even though Halloween is still a few months away, the Zombie Skittle invasion has already begun.
