Subway has been totally innovating the sandwich game lately, if you haven't noticed. After all, these are the geniuses who made sandwiches out of garlic bread. But the chain's rumored new project is a fresh take on two old classics: brisket and SLIDERS.

Subway Is Rumored To Be Releasing A Brisket Sandwich And Sliders, So Get Excited© Subway Subway will reportedly soon be launching a Pit-Smoked Brisket Sandwich along with slider sandwiches.

The Fast Food Post first reported that Subway would soon be launching a Pit-Smoked Brisket Sandwich along with these slider sandwiches. The brisket will apparently be smoked for 13 hours and smothered in barbecue sauce and cheese...the way it should be. This sandwich will be available in six-inch and 12-inch sizes so you can take your pick.

Brisket sandwiches are more of a concept than a prescriptive recipe. With a peppery outside and a luscious inside, when it's chopped up and put on a sandwich you may consider leaving the sauce off and enjoy meat in the way it was intended to be .

Meat-lovers rejoice, this hearty sandwich by Chuck Hughes will fill the biggest appetites. This recipe is so versatile you can prepare your brisket with mashed potatoes and vegetables, or even on its own. 2. Coat the brisket with the spice mixture and keep in the refrigerator overnight to flavor the meat.

Though the brisket hasn't been launched—or even announced—nationwide (Delish reached out for comment to confirm this information but did not immediately hear back), it has been spotted a few different places, and YouTuber Timothy Birmingham tried it for himself, so it is out there, somewhere. It's also worth noting that Subway offered a similar brisket sandwich in 2012, so they clearly know what they're doing.

Also rumored to be coming are sliders that honestly sound adorable. The sliders are $1.79 each and come in Little Cheesesteak (with steak, American cheese and veggies), Italian Spice, (pepperoni, salami, American cheese, and vinaigrette) Little Turkey (with turkey, pepper Jack cheese, spinach, and mayonnaise) and Ham & Jack (which is what it sounds like!).

Like the brisket, these have also been spotted in various locations and even on some commercials, so keep an eye out at your local Subway to see if you're lucky enough to try them before an official nationwide launch. We'll update this post when we hear back from Subway.

Auntie Anne's may be best known for its buttery pretzels and those captivating scents that follow you around the airport, but the soft pretzel chain is taking its menu to new heights with Pretzel Slider Melts. While it sounds strange, Auntie Anne's take on the chicken sandwich is enticing, thanks to its pretzel expertise and the use of pretzel buns. The sliders come in two flavors: Chicken Bacon Ranch and Chicken BBQ. As the name suggests, the Chicken Bacon Ranch comes with chicken, bacon, and ranch (duh), but also features slices of melty provolone cheese. The Chicken BBQ is layered with barbecue sauce, chicken, and slices of cheddar.
