The ticket toturned out to be cupcakes for 14-year-old Isaiah Tuckett of Madison, MN—4,000 cupcakes, to be exact. The generous soon-to-be ninth grader had dreamed of visiting the most magical place on earth throughout his entire childhood, but his mom, Cheri, explains that as a parent of three kids, money and timing always seemed to be factors working against the trip. And anyone planning a vacation can relate to that, no?
For almost as long as Tuckett aspired to take a Disney getaway, he loved being in the kitchen. About two years ago, he baked a bunch of cupcakes for his grandmother’s 85th birthday—and he never stopped. These, either. Tucket’s mom and dad helped him get baking supplies so the young baker could really flex his skills, resulting in beautiful cupcakes made with candy bars and other impressive additions.

"I make peanut butter cup, Andes mint, Twix, Hershey, Rolo, almond, strawberry, carrot cake, pumpkin, red velvet, [and] caramel apple,”.
Tuckett realized his skill could turn into a way for his family to take that special Disney trip together and started his business,. Business really picked up after the bakery in Tuckett’s town closed, and soon, he was selling cupcakes for $20 per dozen for birthday parties, weddings, reunions, graduations, even high school proms. He earned $4,500, enough to take his parents, sister, brother, sister-in-law and baby nephew to Magic Kingdom.

"In a lot of ways, it's been good for Isaiah," Cheri Tuckett said, per WJCL. "He can be a little bit maybe reserved or shy, and it's caused him to have to have conversations with adults who are asking him about his business, which is good; [it] taught him about time management and saving."
As for the trip?
“It was really exciting and warm,” Tuckett said in the same interview.
“It was such a great memory,”. “Something we’ll never forget for sure.”
Next on the goal list for Isaiah’s Tasty Treats? The teen-trepreneur is saving for a pick-up truck for his 16th birthday. So if you live near Madison, get buying.
