Kids are getting cooler as time passes, I swear. Or maybe it's actually just that parents are getting cooler? Either way, this one-year-old boy had the absolute coolest first birthday party because it was Costco-themed and no detail was overlooked.

Josie and Sebastian Gonzalez threw their son Mason a party entirely based off of Costco. Everything from the snacks to the signage was completely on point. Guests showed up wearing Costco-themed outfits, sporting red, white, and blue just like the store's logo—some even wore hair nets! Every aspect of the party was a nod to Costco with some added personal touches.

The centerpiece of the party was an "Employee of the Year" sign that showed photos of Mason each month in his first year. Josie also photoshopped his birth certificate to look like they changed his middle name to Kirkland which was displayed as well.

The appetizers and food was mostly made with Costco groceries, of course, and each had a sign in front of them in the exact style of the pricing signs you see in store. Some of them had hidden meaning for the prices, weights, and codes on them, such as the meatball sign that was in honor of "their little meatball Mason." The numbers they used for price and weight reflect Mason's height and weight when he was born. I'm not crying, you're crying.

Inspiration for the party theme came from the family's love of Costco. Josie told Delish that she now sees how many other people are obsessed with the brand since posting the photos on the Costco subreddit where it gained traction.

"Usually it’s just our family and friends laughing over my husband’s insane obsession with Costco. It’s even more amusing to see all the articles that have been written now and all the additional people who are almost as obsessed as Sebastian!" Josie said. "So many people drinking the Costco kool-aid! But to be fair, it’s obviously the best quality kool-aid at the most affordable price because that’s the Costco way of life."

Ain't that the truth. I know exactly what I want my next birthday party to be like, and you're all invited.
