Amazon Is Selling One of Ina Garten's Favorite Pieces of Cookware for a Super Low Price Today

Amazon Is Selling One of Ina Garten's Favorite Pieces of Cookware for a Super Low Price Today While we *would* literally trust Ina Garten with our lives, usually, we can keep things low-stakes and simply rely on her for trustworthy advice on all things cooking related. Her cookbooks, television shows, and website offer a plethora of recipes, tips, and tricks that make life in the kitchen easier. That’s why, when we noticed that one of her favorite recommended pieces of cookware was on sale today on Amazon, we freaked. Garten loves the Lodge 12″ cast iron skillet, and today, you can get it on Amazon for just $14.98 (it’s usually $22.99).

If Ina Garten says “jump,” we say “how high?” And if Ina Garten says “I only use Wusthof kitchen knives,” you can bet your perfectly roasted chicken we have our eyes peeled for a sale.

Behold: The Barefoot Contessa’s go-to knife brand is on sale this Cyber Monday. At Williams-Sonoma, this Wüsthof Classic 12-Piece Knife Block Set is down from $1,128 to $700, or almost 40 percent off. The set includes a paring knife, utility knife, hollow-ground santoku, 8-inch chef’s knife, bread knife, four steak knives, a honing steel, pull-apart shears and a 13-slot storage block.

The Contessa has gone on the record multiple times to recommend the German cutlery brand, and she even awarded them the label “good knives” on her website…so they must be really good. These are forged from high-carbon steel and feature a full tang (that is, the back portion of the blade extends all the way into the handle for better leverage and durability) and contoured handles. “You want workhorse knives that you just know are going to be great,” she told Food & Wine in October. OK, we’re sold.

Ina Garten Is Having A Virtual Cookbook Tour To Celebrate The Launch Of ‘Modern Comfort Food’ The pandemic has people turning to comfort food. Buzz60’s Keri Lumm shares the results of a new survey conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Farm Rich.

Ina ' s Garden in the Hamptons. One of America' s favorite cookbook authors is Ina Garten. She lives and works in East Hampton, in a lovely shingle style home with beautiful manicured gardens . Her cookbooks are full of easy recipes and lots of hints on great entertaining, but I find myself looking at

Cutlery, Cutlery Sets, Chef Knives & Kitchen Knives . Williams Sonoma features a wide selection of kitchen cutlery and specialty knives . One of our favorite ways to enjoy grilled cheese for dinner: Ground Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese | Dinner Then Dessert.

That is admittedly still quite expensive for a set of knives, but luckily, there’s a smaller seven-piece set for $280 (originally $629) if you don’t have a Barefoot Contessa budget (we don’t). But FYI, we think you really only need a chef’s knife, serrated knife and paring knife, and this three-piece starter set is only $140 (originally $219). And if you take care of them (no dishwasher!). they’ll last forever.

Better get started on that Tuscan turkey roulade. You bought her new cookbook, right?

Buy it ($1,128; $700)
