What McDonald's has dubbed "the sauciest moment of the year" has arrived.

The fast-food chain's iconic barbecue sandwich, the McRib, returns to restaurants nationwide beginning Wednesday for a limited time.

The McRib – seasoned boneless pork, barbecue sauce, onions and pickles on a hoagie-style bun – made its national debut in the early 1980s, McDonald’s said. It last came back in October 2019 for a limited run but hasn't been available nationwide since 2012.
