January is here, and many of us have begun thinking of ways we can improve ourselves for the coming year, whether that's saving more money, eating cleaner, or becoming more active. One Mississippi woman got a head-start on her New Year's resolution back in November, and her amazing fitness journey is already inspiring millions of people on Facebook.

Leneathra Reed of Meridian, MS, hasn't weighed less than 600 pounds in over two years, but since she started working with trainer Frank Harbin two months ago, she's dropped 30 pounds, putting her below the 600-pound threshold. The pair meet up three to four times a week for a combination of cardio and strength training, and her hard work is clearly paying off.

At her starting weight of 626 pounds, Reed noticed she was having trouble moving around at her job and couldn't breathe well. But her real motivation for getting fit was her 23-month-old daughter, Kenlyn. Reed wanted to make sure she'd always be around to take care of Kenlyn.

"Why not get up and get off of my behind and show people that just because you’re big, that does not mean that you have to sit there and just take it," she said. "When you admit that you have a problem, and you admit that it’s something that you need to get up and do something about, you can do it."
