Maximus makes a point to train without equipment even when he has a fully-stocked gym at his disposal—so creating an accessible session for guys stuck at home without access to gear fits perfectly to his training style. Today, he is using a piece of gear: a resistance band. But he chose the implement because of how easily it is to carry on-the-go, making this workout perfect when you're away from home or short on time to break out all your gear.

Band exercises and resistant band workouts are a great way to ensure that the small muscles are strong enough to provide the stability critical to the bigger muscles function. "I do work out every day, but I'm not in the gym for three hours a day," says Maximus. "There are days where I, like you, have only 10 or 20 or 15 minutes and I have to get stuff done in a fast and efficient and effective way."

The session follows one of Maximus' most infamous protocols, the Trinity. Using three exercises, he challenges you to perform more reps than you might think is possible in a short amount of time—in this case, just 10 minutes. For this fast and furious variation, you'll do pushups, banded curls, and banded strict presses (overhead presses). Stand on the band to create tension for the curls and presses.

Perform as many reps as possible in 10 minutes. When you fatigue too much from one exercise, move on to the next with as little rest as possible.
