Though turmeric has been used in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, the golden spice has had an increase in popularity in recent years, and is now included in everything from juices to lattes and health supplements.
"Pain, osteoarthritis, inflammation, recovery from intense exercise, mental health and more are known to benefit from regular turmeric consumption," he explained. "We are now also learning how to optimise the absorption and bioavailability of turmeric and its bioactive compounds, such as curcumin. The future is most certainly bright for this golden spice."
7 Fashion Trends That Will Be Everywhere Come Spring 2023
From a Y2K update, to a return to basics. While it’s true that the trend cycle shows no signs of slowing, most trends actually evolve into updated versions of themselves season after season rather than hitting a complete pendulum swing at once. So ultimately, you can imagine Spring 2023 fashion may look like a progressed version of trends you’re seeing today. For instance, while fashion’s obsession with Y2K dressing has, up until recently, harked back to the mcbling era and adjacent styles (think the answer to “What would Destiny’s Child wear on the red carpet, circa 2002?”), recent developments in the trend indicate a grunge-inspired shift on the way.
Move away from pills/capsules
There is now a real recognition of the value of whole foods and natural nutrients, rather than just taking vitamins and supplements.
"The 'food first' philosophy is now being adopted by many, with increasing interest in functional foods and fluids, rather than supplements, pills and powders. This movement will continue I believe, but it's also important to understand that not all supplements are bad and some can be incredibly useful," the expert said. "So, avoiding extremism in this thinking will be invaluable in years to come. Especially as modern farming techniques are actually reducing various nutrients in whole foods."
Overconsumption, abuse even, of any stimulant will have detrimental effects on the body.

"Caffeine, whether that be from coffee, energy drinks or others is no different," Matt continued, noting that he balanced out the natural caffeine in his B.fresh Focus juice shot with other ingredients to avoid jitters associated with caffeine consumption.
"Knowing how to use caffeinated drinks to enhance focus, cognitive function and exercise performance, without the detrimental side effects is crucial for the general population."
It's no secret that sleep plays a significant role in maintaining health and wellbeing.
"It plays such a vital role in every aspect of our life, but only in recent years have we come to truly value it. The issue is though, that much of modern life and new technological advancements are having a detrimental effect on our sleep," he added. "So, this battle between moving forward (in life), yet valuing our fundamental human needs is upon us.
