Last week, the National Association of Landscaping Professionals (NALP) announced a partnership with FMC Corporation to put more resources and tools in the hands of small-to-medium sized lawn care companies.
© Huntstock/Getty Images Through the joint initiative, part of the "FMC True Champions" program, the FMC Corporation will sponsor NALP memberships for lawn care operators (LCOs) making $450,000 to $850,000 in annual revenue. These NALP memberships will provide growing companies with business resources and training programs, allowing them to "transition from working ‘in’ their business to working ‘on’ their business," per an NALP statement.

The FMC True Champions program will grant any LCOs that meet the program's minimum requirements a free one-year membership to the NALP and a discounted membership for the next two years. The program will also provide landscaping companies with complimentary registration to certain NALP events.
As part of the rollout, the FMC also announced a "NALP-FMC Kickoff Promotion" from Nov. 30 to Dec. 11 that includes rebates on FMC lawn care products.
“FMC is committed to growing the future of the lawn care industry,” said Mike Sisti, marketing manager at FMC Professional Solutions. “We built the FMC True Champions end-user program as a way to support LCOs strategically grow their business.”
