TV maven, comedian, author and real estate titan Ellen DeGeneres is (for better or worse) no stranger to the spotlight. In recent years, she has expanded beyond television and delved into the world of design with the home furnishings line, ED by Ellen DeGeneres. Since launching the brand in 2015, she has released a collection of rugs and pillows with Loloi, tableware with Royal Doulton, furnishings with Thomasville, and lighting with Generation Lighting. Today, DeGeneres announces hew newest line, a collection of bathroom furnishings in partnership with Greentouch Home.

The designer has chosen to team up with Greentouch Home for their manufacturing expertise, which she's paired with her firm's lifestyle and design experience. The result: A diverse selection of fixtures ranging from $199 to $2,499.

The launch includes four signature collections featuring vanities, mirrors, and storage solutions. The products will be offered in a variety of different sizes, finishes, and configurations. The pieces are available exclusively on Lowes and the ED by Ellen website.

“There’s nothing more frustrating than having something that’s beautifully designed but doesn’t work easily,” says DeGeneres says, whose style equally favors form and function. For the designer, what constitutes a successfully designed bathroom is “something that looks great, but also functions well.”

When asked where she draws her inspiration, DeGeneres cites her own homes as the biggest source. “I’ve been able to see what works and what doesn’t,” she says, “So I’ve tried to take everything I learned from my own designing and share that with others.”

What’s next for Degeneres in the world of design? A new ED furniture collection with EJ Victor —handcrafted in North Carolina and inspired by her own favorite mid-century and rustic modern designs. “We’re focusing on sustainability,” DeGeneres states, “using reclaimed wood, performance fabrics from nearby mills, and all natural materials and finishes...I can’t wait to show it to everyone!”
